God has made it available for us to walk in Victory and I wanted to help us see how possible it is for every one of us!
I (Jesus) came that you may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). John 10:10 AMP
HE WANTS US TO LIVE THE CARE FREE; WORRY FREE LIFE!
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘what shall we wear?" For after all these things the Gentiles seek. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31-32 NKJ
God is talking about things! Physical things, material things, daily things will be added! He is concerned about all our things getting worked out.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 NKJ
He wants to add to us... "Greater in quantity and quality"!
Let's define the Kingdom that Jesus is speaking about.
The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 NKJ
The kingdom of God is inside you.
Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation; neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.” Luke 17:20-21 WEB
Seeking the kingdom means that every single day your insides are flowing in His peace and joy, and stay focused on your righteousness!
IT IS SO SIMPLE - keep your self flowing in peace and joy, and staying righteousness conscience, AND all these things will be added!
How do I keep my soul flowing in peace and joy, and focused on righteousness!
Many ways- Reading the Word; Meditating the Word; Praise and Worship music... Praying in Tongues!
We have a enemy that uses the weapon of DISTRACTION to get us off seeking the Kingdom first!
WE CAN GET TOO BUSY PUTTING OUT FIRES THAT WE GET OUT OF THE HEARING AND SEEKING MODE!
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. Luke 10:38-39 NKJ
But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” Luke 10:40 NKJ
And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42 NKJ
Martha was distracted by the normal things of life, but Mary decided to stay seeking the good things of the Kingdom. What an example for us today. Decide that today is your day to seek the Kingdom! Enjoy Him!
