Kathi and I pray that you and your family have a special season filled with His love and grace… Merry Christmas!
For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die.  But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! Romans 5:6-8
In celebrating this wonderful Christmas season, I am reminded that this sinless babe in a manger was born for a higher purpose than what we can sometimes imagine. He was born to die!
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:13
This peace angels sing about is the connection that God will once again establish with His man through the magnificent death of one for the taking away of the desperate, sinful heart of the many!
For me, Christmas is, God gave us His best while we were at our worst. That is His gift of grace and we should relish in it everyday! As one has appropriately contextualized John 3:16, “God loves, God gives, I believe, I live”! Wow, that’s Good News!
Again, Merry Christmas and let us unwrap His special gift Jesus! May you you’re your family and friends closer in His love even more this season and into the year 2014!
From our heart to yours,
Dr Karl and Kathi Barancik
