Are You Ready for New Season?

I believe that 2013 will be a season of overflow; overflowing in favor, miracles, and in the glory of God. All of His covenant blessings will be accelerated into our lives, if we will obey His voice.
Isaiah 1:19 confirms it; “If you are willing and obedient, you will experience the good of the land”.
Let me encourage you to make sure that God’s voice is the first voice you hear every morning… His voice is the one that really matters anyway. So many voices are vying for our attention, but can they really deliver the peace, the wisdom, or the answers that God’s voice can?
After you hear His voice, the critical words of others will have little affect on you…
After you hear His voice, the fear-laden words of those around you will not influence you…
After you hear God’s voice you will be able to face every evil report with faith and confidence.

“Great peace have they which love Your word, and nothing shall offend them.” Psalm 119:165
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is settled on You, because they trust in You.” Isaiah 26:3

We know that God will cause all things to work together for our good in our lives. So let go of everything that slowed you down, and get a new perspective for 2013…

Expect to hear His voice, trust Him, and don’t ever stop or give up. Your future is in His hands and it’s good!

Blessings and Peace, Pastor Karl.

Greetings from Karl and Kathi Barancik!

Merry Christmas to you !

I love this wonderful salutation and it’s the only one I use this time of year.

The real reason for this influx of folks in the malls, the time off employees and school students enjoy, and the special discounts and sales are all because Jesus Christ came in the flesh… Christmas is about Jesus!

Everyone wants to take advantage of this season, but not everyone wants to acknowledge the true reason why. Many call it the Holiday season trying to take the power and spirit of God out of it, but it is all about Him, God’s Savior for the world, Jesus!

Jesus is the Joy of all the earth!

Jesus is God’s good will toward all men!

Yes, Jesus is the reason for the season!

It’s about giving because the God who loves us so has given His greatest, most precious and priceless gift… Amen!Remember Him this season when you are opening packages of love; when you are celebrating with family and friends; and especially when your being trampled in shopping lines finding that last minute gift (just kidding on that, well maybe not).

Make Jesus the center of this season and every season of your life…

Blessings to you and yours…    Karl and Kathi

One big blocker to your faith working in your life is taking Offences! Nothing good ever comes from allowing people, things, or words to offend you... Offences will stop your faith from working in your life. And the Bible is clear that, "we walk by faith, not by sight"!

The Bible gives us a few examples of when people took offense and the result. One time is in Mark 6:1-6:

"Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this, which is given to Him, that His hands perform such mighty works! Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.
But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.”
Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching."

Here we see Jesus coming off some great meetings in other communities around the country. When He arrives in His own hometown, He enters the local synagogue to share... and what happens? He is questioned as to His authority to do what he does. The locals are not amazed to the point of glorifying God, no, they are amazed to the point of being offended because this Jesus is a local boy, who is claiming He's the Anointed One.

In the minds of the people, Jesus was just a local boy, so they were offended when He claimed he was anointed!

Two things that offenses reveal in this passage of scripture...

1) Honor is sometimes given the least from those who think they know you the best! This is deadly because it closes up our heart to whatever benefit we could receive from the other person. Living close to someone can lead to the sin of familiarity if we don't on purpose chose to give honor where honor is due.

2) Taking offense will successfully stop the flow of the anointing in your life! Notice that Jesus Himself could not do any mighty works there because people offended will lead to their unbelief.

In Luke 4 we find the same thing happening. Jesus claims the promises of the Word, and people are offended and reject Him...

He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read... And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
 to preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted.
To proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind.
To set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:16-19
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” Luke 4:20-21
So all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way. Luke 4:28-30

Wow, the folks were so offended they decided to run Jesus out of town and throw Him off a cliff so they could stone Him... this is big time offended!

Some other things that becoming offended will do is: "Stops the Word from producing in your life".

The sower sows the word. These are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. Then there are the ones sown on stony ground that, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no (word) root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. Mark 4:14-17

Everyone of us will suffer trials and persecution in our life. The key is don't take offense over it, work through it!

Another thing that offense will do is open the way for Satan to steal the Word, which stops faith!

Do not give the devil a way to defeat you. Ephesians 4:27

Faith is our anointing connection… When that connection is broken, there is nothing working to remove our burdens and destroy yokes of bondage!

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Isa. 10:27

Learn to walk in peace by putting God's Word first place in your life... and you will find yourself becoming less and less offended. The peace of God will over come all the plans of the enemy to cause you to stumble by taking offence... And the anointing that's in you by faith will work miracles for you and your world.

I have great peace because I love God’s word, and nothing shall offend me! Psalm 119:165

Ask a Champion, Who's Your Daddy?

“Who’s his daddy?” That was the question directed from King Saul to his army commander as they watched David the boy take down an anti-Israeli, anti-God terrorist that stood over 10 foot tall! As David is directed back to King Saul with the giant’s head in his hand the King inquires, “Who are you from? What’s your company?” Wow, don’t tell me there is no importance in who we hang with or who we feed from!

Listen, King Saul didn’t see just a boy with a giant size appetite for big mouth terrorists! No, what Saul saw was that David, just like everyone of us, is a product of other men’s prayers, teachings, training, and coaching! We are not our own, we are a product of our company, our tribe, our past!

Everyone of us must man up and answer the question: Do you belong to someone or are you alone?” In other words, “What tribe are you with? Are you a lone ranger or part of a band of brothers?”

God has called you man of God to become a champion to your family and to your world! What does it take to make a champion man? Other champion man! The Bible refers to the concept that “Iron sharpens iron”! If you dream of being a champion then you had better be ready to be challenged by another champion, or go home!

So from one champion to another, I remind you to join with me and your band of brothers for Fight Club this Saturday, September 22, 2012 @ 9am…

If you don’t know, Fight Club is where each month we pull off the facade of what society, culture, and others expect us to be as men and find the truth to manhood! Here in the trenches we work out with our band of brothers what a godly man looks, feels, and lives like… and then we can without worldly handicaps, courageously walk into the battle as a fully loaded, bullet proof, man of God

If you give me your intentional and undivided 75 minutes every fourth Saturday @ Fight Club, you will become the passionate, committed, Champion that God is looking for and you really deep down crave to become! Hooah!

I’m not trying to mess with your stuff, but if the truth be told deep in your heart you can relate to this following statement: Every man has dealt with or is dealing with now this secret called Insecurity. It frames the questions we ask when no ones around. Questions like, have I made it as a man yet? Or, how do I prove that I’m a man?

I don’t care who you are brother, even if you appear successful on the outside, every one of us must man up and answer the haunting questions of manhood! Many men search for the answers their entire life and never find it! Many guys think authentic manhood means finding a way to prove they don’t need anybody… But if we are created to be a man, and we are, then the first thing to becoming one is to give myself wholeheartedly to the purpose and plan of the One who created me!

So if you are asking these questions now; or you have found the answers to real manhood, either way, you owe it to yourself and your brothers to join Fight Club this Saturday, August 25, 2012 @ 9am…

Fight Club is where each month we pull off the facade of what society, culture, and others expect us to be as men and find the truth to manhood! Here in the trenches we work out with our band of brothers what a godly man looks, feels, and lives like… and then we can without worldly handicaps, courageously walk into the battle as a fully loaded, bullet proof, man of God! It’s awesome to see the transformation happening on a consistent basis with the men who commit to the Fight Club maxim!

This I promise; If you give me your intentional and undivided 75 minutes every fourth Saturday @ Fight Club, I can make you into the passionate, committed, leader/warrior man that God is looking for and you really deep down crave to become! Or we can send Chuck Norris to your house to find out why you’re missing in action! Hooah!
