TapOut to the Truth

I'm wearing my Tapout shirt to remind myself of the following Bible truth concerning money and giving... To tapout means you give up in your own strength before it's to late... and that's the idea here...

Revelation of God's truths are designed to release us from our own trying... and gives us faith to trust Him to do it in us and through us...

so here's some revelation about money that might cause you to tapout(give up in own power) and trust Him.

In Luke 16:11-13 Jesus gives us a money principle for our lives...
If you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own? “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

Every time you and I come into church gathering and we give our money... we are making the most powerful god of this world bow its knee to the great God of heaven and earth!

Money is like the ruling god in most people’s life.

When Jesus said that we must make a choice who we will serve, He didn’t say choose between God or family; God or sex; God or business; or God or personal preferences... NO... He said choose between God and money!

Every time you make money submit itself to God- you gain mastery over it... You gain mastery over it and God gains lordship over it...

  3. good word on this today pastor....i have a theory that right now in our country, God is allowing people to be forced to live back within their means once again (no one will perish without a cell phone or cable tv people) and take a hard look at their spending. they have served the God of money, so the God we serve has to do what i like to call "the snowglobe effect"....which means he has to pick it up and shake it around once in a while to get everyone's attention. blessings...
