Hey everybody… Wanted to remind you about the Heroes series continuing on Sunday at 10:00am. You will like the special videos we put together, along with the Foo fighters song that will be performed… If you are a newer attender remember… just come as you are… and together we will let God speak to our hearts and life…
If your reading this blog and have never attended Faith City before, then welcome. We hope you'll join us for a weekend service to see for yourself what we're about. Through contemporary music, multi-media presentations, and practical messages, we present the ageless truths of the Bible in a format that's easy to understand, even if you've never been to church. And please dress casual. Most people wear casual weekend attire. Jeans are just fine as are shorts. Then just enjoy the service. Participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable doing. We'll let you know if we are about to stand or sit down, so just hang back and check us out. And, by the way, it’s O.K. to laugh at the jokes or videos.
Lastly, bring a friend or enemy with you… either way they will be encouraged on their journey.

We started our new series last Sunday called Hero's... it was over the top... I saw God touching many people with the heart to be a Hero by making a difference in our homes, community, and world... 12 people made first time decisions to follow Christ, and dozens made new commitments to let the hero within (Jesus) come out and lead into our purposes for God. It was a point of decision for our whole church body to become even more of an outward focused church... finding our way, and our ways to share the message of love with those we are in contact with all week long... We need to Re Present Christ as the God of grace to change hearts... it's time... Hey, come out and bring someone with you next Sunday as we continue... Hero's.

Beautiful people are doing amazing things every Sunday at Faith City... Serving in children's ministries, praise teams, greeting and welcoming, in so many ways helping to make the vision of; " Reach Up, Reach Out, and Reach In", a big reality here at Faith City.. This last Sunday was no exception either... We saw many first time guests truly blessed through the genuine service of our wonderful people. We were once again packed out in our adult meetings, and I think we must soon add another Sunday service to accommodate what God is doing... Maybe by the end of summer... we will see. We finished up the teaching series called, : No Perfect People Allowed" I feel like the majority of our church family are getting on board to how God sees us... and that through His grace... God wants to help us ,heal us, and grow us up to be what He has called us to be and do... You can hear these messages by going to our website, Faithcity.tv for our free podcast. Next series starting this coming Sunday is called Hero's.. more later about that... but you can see a Hero's video on home page of website... Peace and grace.

My grand kids came in the office today for a minute, so I gave them hugs and caught up on what they are doing. John shaved his head for track at school. He is awesome on Fenton Football, so I think track gets him ready for it. Bianca just had a major accident last Friday. Car was totaled, but she was only bruised because the airbag was bigger than she was, Praise God! These two are the best, I love them sooo mucho.

Last Monday was my mothers 80th birthday so my brothers and sister, and I took her out for a special dinner. It was a wonderful time. My mom is really doing well, in good health, and enjoying life. She writes and reads emails and continues to grow in her education. I say that because my mom has always been a reader. Always has books she is learning from... In the picture here along with me is my wife Kathi, my mom Joan, and my youngest sons fiance Crystal. I love being around beautiful women, praise God. I told my mom that another 25 years would be fine... I think she agreed, anyway... Heres to you mom... I love you.
